Cookie Policy
How roastdrive.life uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can manage consent.
Last updated: 21 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how RoastDrive Pte. Ltd. ("RoastDrive", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on roastdrive.life. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. By continuing to browse after making a cookie choice in our banner, you consent to the categories you selected. You may change your choice at any time using the instructions below.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites function, remember preferences and understand how visitors use pages. Similar technologies include local storage entries (used on our site to remember cookie consent for up to six months) and session identifiers on our hosting infrastructure.
2. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories. Strictly necessary cookies always run because the site cannot operate securely without them. Analytics and preference cookies run only if you click "Accept all" or enable them in "Customise" and save.
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies support core functions such as load balancing, security filtering and remembering that you dismissed the cookie banner or saved preferences. They do not track you across unrelated websites for advertising. Because they are essential, they cannot be disabled through our banner — you may block them via browser settings, but parts of the site may not behave correctly.
- roastdrive_cookie_consent (local storage) — stores your Accept / Reject / Customise choice and timestamp; duration up to six months; first-party.
- Session / security cookies — may be set by our hosting provider to maintain secure connections; typically session-length or up to twenty-four hours; first-party or subprocessors bound by contract.
2.2 Analytics (optional)
If you consent, we may use privacy-oriented analytics to understand aggregated traffic — for example which pages guests open before visiting the contact form, approximate device categories and referral sources. We configure analytics to minimise identifiable data where practicable and do not use analytics cookies for medical, motoring or unrelated advertising profiles.
- Plausible Analytics (example vendor) — aggregated pageview statistics without cross-site advertising identifiers when configured in cookieless or minimal mode; duration varies up to twenty-four hours for session counting; processor may be located outside Singapore — see Privacy Policy cross-border section.
If we change analytics vendors, we will update this policy and request fresh consent where required.
2.3 Preferences (optional)
Preference cookies remember choices that improve your experience, such as dismissing informational notices or storing non-essential UI settings. We currently use minimal preference storage beyond consent itself. If expanded in future, details will appear here before activation.
3. Cookie banner choices
On first visit, a banner offers three actions:
- Accept all — enables strictly necessary, analytics and preference cookies;
- Reject all — enables strictly necessary cookies only;
- Customise — opens a panel where you toggle analytics and preferences independently before saving.
Your choice is stored in local storage under the key roastdrive_cookie_consent for up to six months, after which the banner reappears so you can review preferences. The stored record includes your choice type and ISO timestamp.
4. How to change or withdraw consent
You may update preferences at any time by:
- Clearing site data for roastdrive.life in your browser settings, which resets the banner on next visit;
- Deleting local storage key roastdrive_cookie_consent via browser developer tools;
- Emailing [email protected] with subject "Cookie preferences" if you need assistance.
Most browsers also allow global cookie blocking. Consult your browser help documentation for Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge instructions. Blocking all cookies may affect form security features and consent memory.
5. Third-party cookies
We do not permit advertising network cookies on roastdrive.life. Third-party cookies may appear only if you consent to analytics subprocessors or if embedded content is added in future updates — we will list such embeds here before launch. Currently the site does not embed social media feeds or third-party video players that set marketing cookies.
6. Do Not Track
Our site respects cookie choices stored through the banner. Universal "Do Not Track" browser signals are not consistently supported across the industry; we treat an explicit Reject all selection as the authoritative opt-out for optional cookies on this site.
7. Updates to this policy
We may revise this Cookie Policy when we add features, change vendors or respond to regulatory guidance. The "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Material changes that require new consent will be paired with a refreshed banner where appropriate.
