These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to the website roastdrive.life and general framework conditions for hospitality services offered by RoastDrive Pte. Ltd. ("RoastDrive", "we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated in Singapore (UEN 202652903M) with registered address at 215 Upper Thomson Road, #01-04, Singapore 574349. By accessing the website or using our café services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.

1. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts for disputes arising from or relating to these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that cannot be excluded by agreement.

2. Brand and name clarification

RoastDrive is a specialty coffee café brand. The components of our name carry the following meanings in the context of our business:

  • "Roast" refers to coffee roasting, roast curves, batch profiles and the sensory results of heat applied to green coffee — not cannabis products, medical heat therapies or unrelated industrial processes.
  • "Drive" refers to roast-journey discipline, the progression from green bean through rest to cup, and the steady operation of our atlas board — not motoring instruction, vehicle sales, golf drives, cloud storage products or hard-sell software growth services.
  • ".life" domain is a branding choice only and does not indicate that we provide medical, wellness detox, life-coaching or insurance products.

We are a café offering walk-in hospitality, retail bags and small wholesale or event brew services — not a marketing agency, medical clinic, driving school or car dealership.

3. Website use

You may use our website for lawful personal or business enquiry purposes. You agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorised access to our servers, forms or data;
  • Submit false, defamatory or malicious content through contact forms;
  • Use automated scraping or spam tools against the site;
  • Misrepresent affiliation with RoastDrive without written permission;
  • Introduce malware or interfere with site security measures.

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe misuse has occurred.

4. Information on the website

Menu descriptions, atlas tasting notes, illustrative café moments, pricing ranges and hours are provided for general information. We strive for accuracy but batch availability, rest dates and prices may change without immediate website updates. The live board at the café supersedes stale online references. Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, investment advice or a guarantee of award status.

5. No prohibited claims

RoastDrive does not claim to be the number-one roast or best café in Singapore. We do not guarantee a perfect cup on every visit. Coffee flavour varies with lot, roast date, rest, water, humidity and brew method. Tasting notes are honest observations by our team, not promises that your palate will match. We do not claim that coffee cures, detoxifies, treats disease or replaces medical care. Guests with caffeine sensitivity or health conditions should make their own informed choices.

6. Café hospitality

When you visit our premises or purchase food and beverages:

  • You are responsible for disclosing allergens and dietary requirements to staff before ordering;
  • Food is prepared in a shared kitchen — we cannot guarantee zero cross-contact;
  • We may refuse service where behaviour threatens staff or guests or violates applicable law;
  • Seating during peak periods is shared fairly — we do not guarantee uninterrupted laptop space or unlimited dwell time;
  • Retail bags are sold with recommended rest dates — opening early or improper storage affects flavour, which is outside our control after purchase.

7. Wholesale and event brew

Wholesale bag orders and event brew bars require separate coordination, confirmed rest windows and written or email acceptance of scope and fees. Indicative website pricing is not a binding quote until confirmed. Cancellation terms for paid events will be stated in the confirmation email. We may decline orders that exceed our batch capacity or require misleading origin claims.

8. Intellectual property

Website content, including text, layout, logos, favicon, roast atlas terminology and photographic presentations (excluding third-party trademarks visible in street context photos), is owned by or licensed to RoastDrive Pte. Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works for commercial purposes without prior written consent. Limited personal sharing of links to our pages is permitted.

9. Third-party services

Our website may reference or link to third-party services such as analytics providers, map applications or email infrastructure. Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party content or outages beyond our reasonable control.

10. Privacy

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the PDPA. Contact forms require explicit consent before submission. See the Privacy Policy for access, correction and complaint procedures.

11. Cookies

Cookie use is described in our Cookie Policy. Optional cookies are placed only after you accept all cookies or save customised preferences. Consent choices are stored for six months.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, the website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted access, error-free content or fitness for a particular purpose beyond hospitality standards we apply in good faith at the café.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RoastDrive Pte. Ltd. and its directors, employees and contractors shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from website use or café visits, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for direct damages arising from a specific confirmed wholesale contract or proven negligent café service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that transaction, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable).

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify RoastDrive against claims arising from your misuse of the website, violation of these Terms, or false information you provide, except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

15. Illustrative content

Café moments on the roast atlas page are illustrative and anonymised — not testimonials, celebrity endorsements or guaranteed outcomes. They demonstrate how we handle batch variance rather than promising identical future results.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Material changes affecting wholesale clients may be communicated directly where contact details exist. Continued website use after changes constitutes acceptance of updated Terms for new access sessions.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force to the extent permitted by law.
